I'm heading to Illinois today for a memorial service (a tribute to his life) for Aidan O'Malley. A 10 year boy who lost his battle with leukemia. It is going to be tough! I'm going with another Children's Hospital friend of mine. Her daughter also had leukemia -- but like Colin she remains in remission. Not exactly the club any of us wanted to be a part of.
