Swimming

Got off to a slow start this morning, dropped kids off at school and chatted too long with a friend in the parking lot. Finally made it down to the gym. Today I did 35 minutes on the elliptical (level 6/7 random program, 490 cals, 3.4 miles). I FORGOT my running shoes, so had to do the elliptical in my socks. Cute hey. lol Feel like a kid in school -- I wore my boots and left the shoes at home. Oh well. I then changed in to my swimsuit and did 10 laps in the pool -- 2 laps of freestyle, then 1 lap of breast stroke (repeated til I had 10 done). I was in a hurrry to get home, so that was all I did. It was a quick workout, but felt great! Got home in time to say goodbye to Clint. He is on his way to the airport. He is going to Pittsburgh for his Army drill weekend.

Food log: b-fast: coffee w/cream. I know this is horrible -- I know I need to eat b-fast. I just can't seem to get my act together the past 2 days. I at least should be grabbing a string cheese on the way out the door. Speaking of which Snack: string cheese. Lunch: Wendy's baked potato with sour cream and chives (no butter) and a small chili, diet coke. I put most of the chili on top of the potato, then the sour cream on top. It was delicious! note to tammy: I DID NOT touch any of Emma's nuggets :) . Snack: chewy granola bar, oatmeal raisin; diet pepsi. Dinner: Lien Cusine pizza; water. Snack: micropopcorn and some of the kids' milk duds.


Lots of H20 so far this morning. I have an appt at 1 today at the blood center to give blood. update: Emma and I went to the blood center -- the lady pulled me into an office, shut the door and explained that I can't give blood with Emma there. The child must be over the age of 6. Never knew that that would be a problem. So no blood donation from me today. I'm going to do a walk in donation next week.

Have a good weekend :) The weeked may be my biggest challene -- however I'm ready for it. Bring it on!!

I swear Jan . YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION!!! thats alot of calories burned. that is awesome!!!=- this morning I talked myself out of calling the Y .. I dont know why .. I feel Im too fat to go lol. with all the skinny chicks.. ugh ugh ugh - I need to go and find that darn eliptical machine lol. sounds awesome.- and the swimming you do .. HECK .. I CANT SWIM .. I HATE THE WATER.. HATE!... but.. still jealous.. you are awesome!!!
