OMG never in my life have I had this happen. I got an infection in my finger. Noticed Wed. night that it was hurting. By Thursday it was throbbing and ugly. Friday I went to the doctor and he prescribed an antibiotic. Saturday hurt like hell. Today went to the walk in clinic and had it drained. Holy relief! It hurt like %#^& to have it done -- not the cutting part, but the pushing on it to get the gunk out part hurt. And wow did the stuff come out. You know I HAD to see what was in there. lol It feels a whole lot better right now. Still ugly, but no pain. Let's hope this baby clears up ASAP. I never realized just how ugly a finger can be. lol Guess I don't take too many pics of it. I also didn't realize how much we use these darned things. Unreal! I am now thankful for the use of my fingers/hands. It is amazing how much we depend on them.
