First off, Clint and I were out until Midnight last night. Had a great time at his work party. Met his co-workers and spouses. Great bunch of people. The party was catored by Pandls -- excellent appetizers being passed around all night. And their was a bartender -- open bar. Lets just say I won't be using flex points at all this week! Anyways, it was hard to get up this morning. I almost talked myself out of doing the 5K -- but I really wanted this to be one of my goals for this month. Clint and the kids were so good about getting up and going with me.
Race started at 9:30. I registered this morning and was #750. My goal: finish the 5K without walking and try to do it in under 30 minutes. I crossed the finish line at 29:30. But the darned results posted say 29:43. Oh well, close enough. I DID IT! Heres a pic of the kids and I by Samson, the gorilla the race is named after.
