Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

It has been quite a day. I was one of the parent helpers at Emma's K4 party this morning. The school really gets into the spirit on St. Pat's. Em's class made green eggs and ham and toast and oj. Then after guidance, they came back to the classroom for cupcakes and shamrock shakes. I made the shakes. And then we went to the gym for an all school assembly to see the Trinity Irish Dancers perform. They were so good. I'm thinking I need to look into that for Emma. I keep hearing what a time commitment it is. But she is my youngest -- maybe this is the time for me to do that! And she is quite the performer. I guess in the fall they have an open house. I will look into it then. I was pooped out after our busy morning, so we came home and vegged out. Finally at 4 I got on the treadmill for 65 minutes of running/walking/incline -- 5.5 miles.

I'm doing ok on the eating, but haven't done a good job of keeping track of the points.

b-fast: coffee (1) mini cupcake at school party (I'm going to say 3??)
lunch: BLT 2 slices ww bread (1); 3 slices bacon (2); avocado (1); tomato; lettuce (0); mayo (1); light tostitos (2); diet pepsi w/lemon
snack with the 3 kids after school: McDonalds small shamrock shake (??????)
dinner: Irish Potato :-) Potato w/margarine, cheese, sour cream, and some bacon crumbled on it.

7 p.m. and I'm done for the night.
