Happy Birthday Clint!

How does this happen -- so motivated, and then suddenly feel like going back to my old habits? I hate when I let myself do this. It's almost like I don't even care. And I swear as soon as I start straying, the pounds come on instantly. I'm back up to 161 pounds.

Yesterday was my day off from exercise. I like to get at least 6 days in a week. So today I'll be back at it. I worked out Sun., Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs. and did a double workout on Tuesday.

b-fast: coffee (1) and this is where I was thinking I was going to just say "screw it" so I had a Pillsbury Cherry Toaster Strudel. Then after eating it, I decided to see if I could still salvage my day. So I figured out the points. Not as bad as I thought it would be. (190 cals; 9 fat; 1 fiber = 4 pts). Not the best, but there is still hope for my day. If it had been 8 points I probably would have said screw it and ate through the rest of the day.

I DID IT -- Ran/walked 5.5 miles (my new outdoor route). Its 40 and sunny here today. Felt great to get out in the fresh air.

Jan .. Im glad the breakfast strudel was only 4 pts.. but big deal had it been 10pts.. YOU COULD STILL HAVE SALVAGED THE REST OF YOUR DAY... you get points for exercising.. and .. you could have had a very light lunch and a great dinner still.. soooo.. dont freak!! you are dong fine!!!! hugs... and Happy birthday clint!!
