Wednesday

This week is flying by. I dropped the kids off at school and went to Bally's again. I did 42 minutes on the elliptical crosstrainer (hill program, forward 5 minutes; reverse 2 minutes . . . repeats) then a 3 minute cool down. Ended with 4.70 miles; 667 calories. 15 minutes of lower body weights. My arms and abs are sore from yesterday workout. I tried doing the ab cruncher machine again today and couldn't get myself up. lol Pretty sight. After the weights I got on the treadmill for a 15 minute workout -- walked 2 minutes; then ran at 7.0-7.5 mph for 2 minutes repeated that for the 15 minutes. Nice sweaty workout. I've downed 4 bottles of water so far.

I put a roast in the slow cooker this morning. My house smells good already. I also have some bananas that need to be turned into banana bread. Will be doing that with the girls this afternoon. I have to say that I have so much more energy now that I'm back to regular workouts. Also I'm going to bed at a decent time which is making a huge difference. I've been getting up most mornings by 6 a.m. and our house is so much more organized and kids are getting to school on time, and NO FIGHTING involved. I even made them homemade pancakes this morning. There are so many positives to my getting healthy :-)
