Clint and I did our 23 mile training run on Saturday. That is about all I can say. lol I finished -- and after I finished I drove the van back to find Clint. It was probably only 1/2 mile from the finish, but he did not want to continue, so he got in the van. Poor guy. He missed our 20 miler, so he had a big jump from his last long run of 17 miles. It was a tough workout for both of us. I ended up all alone the last 4-5 miles because I couldn't get myself to keep up with the others. I felt mentally exhausted and just wanted to be done, yet didn't want to run. They have coolers with water and gatoraid along our route. Well on the way back, one of our coolers was stolen, so I went without liquid for probably about an hour. That is where I think things went wrong for me. I was never so happy as to see the next cooler on the route and fill all my bottles.
My legs still hurt a little bit today, but it is mostly the chaffing on my inner thighs. yuck. I'm going to try different running shorts next time, and we got some glide stuff to put on our thighs to prevent the chaffing.

wow.. thats scary going with out liquid. geez woman!!! you had a phone.. I would have called 911 probably lol.
