Two months since my last blog. Well not a lot has changed. However, last week after running into one of the WW personnel at the mall, and then a few days later having my niece call me for the WW meeting times, I decided to take it as a sign that I need to go back! Hmmm -- the very tight jeans weren't sign enough? Running/walking 25-30 miles a week for the past 4 weeks and not losing weight wasn't enough of a sign??? I was trying to convince myself that losing weight at 40 is going to be impossible -- so I was almost willing to just let it all go and be fat and jolly. Pathetic hey.
So I went to WW on Saturday. I'm not going to get into numbers here until I'm actually at goal. And I don't think it is unreasonable to expect to be at goal by August 15, 2006, my 40th birthday! I CAN DO IT!. So I've followed the points the past 4 days in a row. Didn't even realize how off base I was with my eating -- I think I was eating twice what I have been eating this week on WW. I know I will have a nice loss this week. Nothing like the Biggest Loser Matt's one week 26 pound weight loss. Unreal!! But it will be good. And I'm ready to go into the holidays losing a bit and maintaining -- definately not gaining.
Monday I did 4.5 miles; this morning I did 5.12 miles on the treadmill.
I'm back :-)
